NCAA Division I Men’s/Women’s Cross-Country National Rankings

(September 18, 2012) – The USTFCCCA has just released its latest set of the NCAA Division I national rankings.
Among the 30 men’s programs and 30 women’s program making the national rankings are two men’s squads and three women’s squads from the Golden State.
Leading the way among Californians on the men’s side is Stanford, which is listed ninth overall and second among the West Region (behind Portland). The second California program making the esteemed list is UCLA, which is ranked 27th nationally and fourth among West Region teams.
For the women, Stanford also leads the state by being listed ninth nationally and third in the West Region, behind top-ranked Washington and #3 Oregon. Also making the women’s list is the University of San Francisco, under Coach Helen Lehman-Winters.
