sunny Southern California for the nation's top high school invitational!
The Friday portion was added to the slate Arcadia in 2003! Focusing on sprint and
distance relays and the shuttle hurdles, the Friday Night Relays portion of Arcadia has
already produced multiple national records ands kicks off the weekend in grand fashion.

ARCADIA-The Friday evening session at the Arcadia Invitational, the brainchild of meet director Rich Gonzalez, has arisen as one of the nation's elite track & field meets in its own right in under a decade.
Seven national leaders were established at the Apache track on Friday alone, highlighted by an outstanding effort in the girls 4×800 meter relay from Redondo Union at 9:09.74. The Loyola 4×800 relay followed suit with a country-best 7:44.13 to win the boys competition.
The Madera South boys 4×1600 broke away in the anchor leg and posted a national leader at 17:44.18, while the girls race at the same distance also facilitated a nation's best by Aptos in 20:30.02.
